Today Ash scooted across my mom’s kitchen floor (backwards). And then around and around and around in circles using his hands while resting on his belly.

This week he laughed at (in order):
-Being tickled for the first time
-Me acting silly (taking his feet and pretending to kick me and covering my eyes)
-Raspberries on his belly (which I’ve been doing since he was born, always met with a dull look)

At around five months, Ash knows his name and will turn to me when I call it out.

At just over five months, Ash can sit unassisted for about 10 seconds. He’s getting better every day. When he starts to topple over (forward), he’ll put out his hands to hoist himself back up. If he’s bent over all the way, he can bring himself back up into a perfect sitting position using […]

Turn down the suck! (Getting whizzed on.)
Turn up the good! (Ash has been mastering turning the pages of books for the past couple of weeks. Excuse my voice.)

Ash can sit by himself unassisted for a few seconds (10 seconds or so) before toppling over.

Ash has been able to turn pages of board books realllly well for the past week. It’s amazing!!
