Ash learns how to stand up

I left the room for TEN SECONDS to put my underwear away, and this is what I came back to.


Ash splashed in the water for the first time today. We started “swimming lessons” and he was hitting the water with his hands and feet. I’ve been trying to teach him how to splash for the better part of two months and he’s finally caught on.

When I arrived home yesterday after my massage, Clive said, “look! It’s Mama!” and Ash said “maaamaaamaa”
He hadn’t been babbling before nor even after he said the slew of syllabels, so I’m wondering if it’s his first word or not. COOL! If it is. Meh if it’s not.

He pulled himself up into standing position today (on the sewing machine box) without assistance from me. Good lord. Life! HARDER! So much harder! So much more scary.

Well, it’s my 28th birthday. I’m not thrilled about turning this age, but at least we have a good day planned. Clive woke up with Ash for an hour at 5am and another hour at 7:30am so that I could have a (mostly) uninterrupted sleep. I usually take the 5 or 6am shift, so it […]
